Phones 4u has selected Oracle Retail to enhance customer service and support growth in the UK and Northern Ireland.

The retailer plans to use such applications as Oracle Retail Point of Service to help manage critical store operations, access accurate data in real-time and drive reporting capabilities to enhance communication between stores and the head office.

"As we grow, we require systems that will help us to develop a more intimate understanding of our customers within each store," says Steve Johnson, IT strategy and architecture director at 4u Group. "We expect the insight embedded within the Oracle Retail applications to provide greater visibility and intelligence to drive the decision-making process and enhance our performance."
