NetDespatch is helping Yodel offer advanced online shipping solutions to its clients. Using the intelligent NetDespatch systems integration tools, Yodel clients shipping more than 100 consignments each day can select the NetDespatch option which easily integrates their sales order processing and warehouse systems.

This enables them to automatically print parcel shipping labels at any location and track consignments from despatch to delivery using any Internet-enabled device.

Working with NetDespatch, Yodel is able to provide web-based despatch tools that work seamlessly with modern warehouse technology. For example a central sales order processing system might direct labels to be printed at a selection of fulfilment houses, or a warehouse operative may scan internal barcodes to produce labels in real time at point of despatch. This eliminates multiple parcels shipping systems, duplication of data entry, thus reducing costs and speeding the order through for despatch and delivery.

NetDespatch technology also underpins Collect+ collection and returns service, with the latter enabling consumers to return items back into stock for resale more easily than traditional methods. Yodel's Collect+ retail clients can improve their smartphone applications using a NetDespatch service that helps their customers to find their nearest Collect+ agent according to their geo-location.

Becky Clark, CEO of NetDespatch says: "NetDespatch gives Yodel a sharp commercial edge, especially with eCommerce and large retailers, as it offers a proven, easy to implement, secure and cost-effective web-based shipping platform. It makes Yodel clients' order fulfilment and despatch operations simpler and allows them to choose the services that best suit their needs."

Greg Smith, CIO of Yodel, adds: “Yodel processes millions of parcels each year shipped through the NetDespatch platform. NetDespatch provides a proven and resilient platform and its integration services are continuously updated, under-pinning Yodel's commitment to give clients and consumers the tailored services they want and need.“
