Mothercare is aiming to enhance its merchandise planning, speed international growth and improve productivity with the addition of Torex Merchandise Planning.

Following Mothercare's acquisition of The Early Learning Centre, the company has worked with two separate pre-season planning systems for its international division. It conducted a review into the most appropriate system to meet its international planning needs before selecting the Torex solution.

Gillian Berkmen, group brand and commercial director at Mothercare, comments: "With our plans for international growth, we required a supplier who could provide a simple to use, cost effective and scalable system. Torex was able to answer all of these needs, ensuring our customers have continuous access to fresh and appealing products."
