Maple Lake, which provides planning and allocation solutions to the retail industry, has completed a deal to acquire Satori Planning Pty. Satori Planning formerly distributed Maple Lake’s solutions in Australian and the Pacific Rim.

Maple Lake are used worldwide by clients such as Levi Strauss, Aeropostale, The Arcadia Group and The Apparel Group, to plan and manage inventory levels and optimise margins. The deal, for an undisclosed value, incorporates the whole of the Australian and Pacific Rim operations under the Maple Lake Group.

“The acquisition of Satori is of strategic importance to Maple Lake and our customers,” says Mark Stone, CEO, Maple Lake. “Our client base has grown from a North American-centric base to a truly global environment with customers operating planning environments 24/7. The addition of in-house resources in the Southern Hemisphere really strengthens our commitment to both that territory as well as our global customers.”

“The Maple Lake partnership has been a successful one from day one, and this acquisition is a great way for us to improve support for existing clients and simultaneously increase the bandwidth to sign new clients,” comments Chris Fegan, president, Satori Planning Pty.
