Free loyalty scheme app launched

A new smartphone app providing a stamp-based loyalty programme for retailers has launched on iPhone and will go live on Android in December. Loyalli is free for both retailers and customers and was created by a group of app developers sick of having their wallets weighed down with unused loyalty cards.

Sebastian Borggrewe, one of the founders of Loyalli, explains: “From experience we knew many people forget to use or throw away stamp cards and even when they are used, the vendor has very little evidence to demonstrate their effectiveness.

“The Loyalli app means customers don’t need to carry, lose or forget to use cumbersome physical loyalty cards, they just need their phone. It also provides retailers with the most cost-effective and easy to implement marketing programme available, with the ability to analyse trends in usage. We’ve had a great response from retailers who’ve trialled Loyalli and can’t wait to use it in every store, restaurant and café we go into."

Over 50 independent retailers have now signed up to Loyalli, which can be run alongside or instead of a card based loyalty stamp scheme.
