Lacoste licensee selects Manhattan Associates

Devanlay Group, whose retail operations consist of Lacoste branded stores as well as concessions within department and sportswear outlets, has selected a number of components from the Manhattan SCOPE supply chain solutions suite.

These include Warehouse Management, Supply Chain Intelligence (SCI) and Slotting Optimisation. The project is currently underway at Devanlay's international distribution centre in France.

Having been reliant on a proprietary supply chain system that had become outdated over time, the company recognised it needed a new supply chain technology infrastructure to take the business forward. Jean-François Bader, group IT systems director at Devanlay, comments: "We wanted to select a new supply chain platform that would not only enable us to deploy new processes and optimise our European supply chain model, but would also support us in our projects in Asia and America. After reviewing a number of solutions available in the marketplace, we concluded that Manhattan provided the best solutions to meet our immediate and longer term needs."
