Sanderson has won a contract to supply its Elucid solution to James Inglis. This follows a review by the narrow fitting ladies footwear specialist of the multi-channel retail solutions on the market. The retailer was looking to address the fact that its business plans were heavily focused on growth for 2010 and beyond, and the business needed increased levels of functionality, integration and support from the IT system.

Elucid was selected for its expertise in the footwear industry, along with its ability to support multiple sales channels, improve operational efficiencies, deliver highly targeted marketing campaigns and provide faster, more meaningful management information. Sanderson is implementing the solution to manage mail order and retail operations at the James Inglis head office and retail store in Peebles, Scotland, and completing the project with integration to their new website.

Marie-Rose Inglis, director at James Inglis, comments: “We quickly recognised that we needed a multi-channel software solution to support the next phase of our business development and one that addressed the unique requirements of the footwear industry. Elucid is that very solution. It provides us with the specific functionality and integration to accelerate our expansion.”
