Forzieri reports a significant sales lift and reduction in production costs and returns following implementation of Adobe Scene 7's Dynamic Imaging and Visual Configurator technology.
The luxury fashion e-tailer says that it has seen a 20 per cent increase in conversion, reduction in production costs of 30 per cent and a fall in returns of a third after adding the imaging functions to its website. "From my familiarity with other merchandising solutions I can say that none rival the ease-of-implementation of Scene7 and shortly after the integration, we experienced an immediate lift in conversion," says Andrea Forzieri, CEO and founder. "It is critical to our success to present an interactive site in which our products are featured in the most detail-rich format imaginable, and Scene7 has helped us achieve that."
The retailer's Product Zoom function has lifted conversion on the site between 15 per cent and 20 per cent because it allows customers to intimately view products of interest. Forzieri's return rate is now five per cent (down from 7.5 per cent). "Being able to zoom in on the inside of a luxury handbag or the stitching on an exquisite wallet is critical to our business because understanding the quality of our merchandise is one of the primary decision-making levers," says Forzieri.
