Eroski Group, Spain's third largest retailer, has selected i2 solutions for the modeling, planning and execution of its inbound and outbound transportation operations.

"We believe the roll-out of i2 transportation solutions will ensure that we run our complex logistics operations more efficiently by lowering transportation costs and CO2 emissions significantly, while improving service levels," says Mikel Larrea, director, transport at Eroski Group. "Before selecting i2, we reviewed other relevant solutions in the market and selected them for a pilot based on their profound expertise, richness of functionality, proven technology and the large number of successful customers. Based on a successful pilot, we are rolling out the solutions across all of Eroski Group."
