Coop Consumatori Nordest, a division of supermarket chain Coop Italia, has selected ZBD’s electronic shelf labelling solution for its brand new store concept, ‘Tutto Coop solo Food’.

Located in Parma, Italy, the outlet sells just Coop-branded high-end products. Around 1,000 epop displays (electronic point of purchase) have been implemented within the 200 m2 store, which opened in October.

Dr Maurizio Cattaruzza, IT manager at Coop Nordest, says: “Tutto Coop solo Food is an innovative store concept, and we wanted to make sure that the technology we chose is cutting-edge and reflects the ‘technological style’ that we wanted the shop to have. We researched the different labelling solutions on the market, and found that the ZBD system was not only the best looking product, but its light touch infrastructure and low total cost of ownership made it the only choice for us.”
