City Pub Company integrates Flyt platform

Written by Chris Lemmon

The City Pub Company, which has a portfolio of more than 30 pubs across southern England, has become the latest partner to join Flypay’s Flyt platform.

The Flyt platform will provide The City Pub Company with access to faster, frictionless payments, through the use of Flypay’s Pay at Table and Bar Tabs technologies, which will be built into the company’s new mobile app.

The new City Pub Company app integrates with Zonal’s point of sale system and also incorporates its iZone loyalty scheme. This means that customers using Pay at Table or Bar Tabs will be rewarded with offers and incentives to drive repeat visits.

Kyle Gibson, digital marketing manager at The City Pub Company, commented: “We pride ourselves on running the best pubs in the cities in which we operate. We are obsessive about our beer, passionate about our food, and our customers are at the forefront of everything we do. As such, we are constantly in search of ways to improve their experience and we believe introducing Flypay’s frictionless payment technologies will do just that.”

Tom Weaver, CEO of Flypay, added: “We’re delighted to be collaborating with The App Business to deliver a seamless digital experience to The City Pub Company’s customers. Through payment technology, our Flyt platform has the capabilities to dramatically enhance the experience for customers, before allowing them to move on to their next destination with ease.”
