ChannelAdvisor toasts e-commerce solutions success

E-commerce platform provider, ChannelAdvisor, has announced its partnership with The Orvis Company, a retailer of fly-fishing gear, clothing, home furnishings, gifts and dog products. Orvis is using ChannelAdvisor’s Paid Search, Comparison Shopping and Rich Media solutions in both the UK and US to drive online sales.

Upon signing on with ChannelAdvisor, Orvis achieved an increase in new buyers and online orders over the previous year. Orvis e-commerce manager Arin Shortt says: “The ChannelAdvisor team has now taken on the management of our data feeds, and we’ve been very pleased with their level of expertise and our results.”

In the past ChannelAdvisor also partnered with feelunique.com, one of Europe’s fastest growing online beauty retailers to help improve its online brand business. feelunique.com employed Paid Search and Comparison Shopping solutions in March and are already seeing impressive results.

Paid search has generated a 31 per cent increase in revenue while comparison shopping has seen a 25 per cent increase.

“We are really impressed with our performance on comparison engines and paid search engines since we launched the ChannelAdvisor solution in March,” says Tom Newbald, Online Marketing Manager at feelunique.com.

The beauty retailer has also implemented ChannelAdvisor’s newest paid search feature - Inventory Driven Search. The Inventory Driven Search feature allows feelunique.com to automatically create unique ads, keywords and ad groups for each product while ensuring that only in-stock products are being advertised.

“feelunique.com is an incredibly successful online retailer and we are delighted they have chosen ChannelAdvisor to help with their e-commerce expansion,” adds James Scott, managing director EMEA, ChannelAdvisor.

Other ChannelAdvisor customers include B&Q, Ann Summers, Boots and New Look.
