Barclaycard Freedom will offer cardholders 10 per cent reward money every time they make a purchase from tomorrow (Thursday) until Sunday this week. It is the loyalty scheme’s biggest promotion to date, aimed at driving greater footfall, spend and number of customers for participating retailers.

The 10 per cent offer, which will run between July 7 and 10, will be available at big name retailers including Goldsmiths, PizzaExpress and Shell.

Richard Wergan at Barclaycard comments: “We have already seen participating retailers reap the benefits from signing up to Barclaycard Freedom and we believe this promotion will continue to encourage more business their way. With over 1.3 million cardholders currently earning Reward Money through Barclaycard Freedom, not only will participating retailers get a boost over the weekend, but shoppers will also earn some fantastic rewards just ahead of the school holiday season.”

Barclaycard Freedom rewards customers in pounds not points and can keep track of their reward money online. A list of participating retailers can be found at www.barclaycardfreedom.co.uk
