B&Q has launched a mobile transactional site as it looks to take advantage of a growing number of customers interested in shopping via their phones. The site gives access to diy.com and allows customers to click and collect

The retailer says that so far this year approximately 4.5 million users have browsed DIY.com via their mobile devices. Dave Elliott, director of multi-channel at B&Q, says: "We're bringing our online channels inline with consumer trends to make it easier for our customers to browse, be inspired and shop for all their home improvement needs on the go with minimum effort and no fuss."
