The independent distributor of DVD and video across
the UK is commissioning screen media specialist Grand
Visual to produce the promotional clip which appears
on screens in the retailer’s High Street stores
nationwide.
The distributor wants to showcase the quality and
entertainment value of the HKL and Premier Asia labels
as well as introducing specific price points for the
product.
Grand Visual created a three-minute promotional execution
featuring edited sequences from over 12 of the labels’
titles. On screen graphics highlight the available
releases and the price point.
“The HMV store environment is visually busy
and therefore a challenging space to attract attention
and engage viewers,” says Jeremy Shaw, creative
producer at Grand Visual. “We used the most
eye-catching sequences from the various showcased
movies and delivered a high energy edit. The action
was underpinned by constant branding.”
