The retailer is utilising the online payment service by Cash-Ticket, integrated with its IBM WebShere system, whereby customers purchase a voucher from one of the 20,000 outlets with a PayPoint sign and then enter the number when paying for their purchases online. The product is then dispatched through Kiddicare’s order fulfilment service.
Scott Weavers Wright, partner at Kiddicare, comments: “The move to allow customers to pay for our goods online using cash was prompted by the current economic climate. If customers do not want a credit card they should not be punished and should have other payment options available to them. Every day, we were receiving numerous calls and emails from customers requesting an alternative payment system on the site.”
