The latest figures from the IMRG Capgemini e-Retail Sales Index show that £26.5 billion was spent online in the UK in the first half of 2008. UK shoppers spend 17p in every pound online and online shopping will account for half of all shopping in the next five years. And yet most retailers have a long way to go before they can truly say they have 'won' at multi-channel.
